The photograph

Metal print.NASA/ESA/CSA/STScI

Taken by the James Webb Space Telescope in near- and mid-infrared (NIRCam and MIRI). The object is planetary nebula NGC 2392, shaped by a hot white dwarf at its center. The bubble of gas is the dying star’s leftover shell. Astronomers expect it to disperse in about 10,000 years.

The metal

Dye-infused into aluminum. No paper, no glass, no frame. A hidden float mount sits the panel ½ in off the wall.

Shipping

Printed to order. Packed rigid, ships in 5–8 days. Free freight over $250.
